How to work on SoftDeal
Every section of the developer workspace in short, from sign-up to payout. The steps go in order — every task follows this path.
Getting started
- Fill in the developer profile: country, experience, English, availability, stack, GitHub. You can press "Dictate the questionnaire" and talk about yourself — the fields fill in by themselves.
- Add a USDT wallet on TRON (TRC-20, the address starts with T) — rewards are paid there. No wallet? The profile page shows how to create one in Trust Wallet.
- "Three steps to your first contract" on the Overview shows what is left.
You can't apply without a profile. Unsaved answers aren't lost — the draft saves itself.
Open «Profile»Overview — your home page
- At the top: the task in progress and the countdown to delivery.
- "Picked for you" — new tasks matching your stack.
- "What's new" — what happened: messages, replies to proposals, contract events, payouts.
- Turn on browser notifications here so you don't miss a message or being picked.
Find a task
- Open Tasks. Search by title or technology, filter by category and stack.
- Click a task to read it: the spec, the acceptance checklist, examples, the reward and the term in days.
- "Save search" with "Notify me about new tasks" — and matching tasks come to you.
All tasks are posted by the SoftDeal team. No fees: you get the whole reward.
Open «Tasks»Apply
- On the task page press "Send a proposal".
- Explain how you'll do it and your experience (30+ characters) and set the term in days — up to the task's term. Press "Send proposal".
- Until you are picked you can edit the proposal or withdraw it.
- The team may ask a question — it comes to Messages. My work → Proposals shows the status: Sent, Shortlisted, Hired, Declined.
Shortlisted means the team considers you among the main candidates. Nothing is decided yet.
Open «My work»Working on a contract
- When you are picked you get a notification and the task appears in My work → In work. The term starts then.
- The contract has everything: the spec, the acceptance checklist, the chat with the team and the countdown.
- Ask questions in the contract chat — reply to a message or paste a screenshot.
- Can't continue? Press "Abandon task" and give a reason. The task goes back to the feed.
If the term runs out without delivery, the contract closes and the task goes back to the team.
Open «My work»Deliver the work
- In the contract press "Deliver work".
- Tick the checklist items you've done. You can deliver once all are ticked.
- Add the link to the project — it is required (for a mobile app, also the iOS and Android builds). Repository, how to run it, accesses and files are optional but speed up the review.
- Press "Submit for review". The team checks the work against the checklist and accepts it or returns it with comments — then fix it and deliver again.
Get paid
- After acceptance the reward shows in Earnings (in the avatar menu and on your profile) as "Owed".
- The platform sends USDT (TRC-20) to your wallet and marks it — the status becomes "Paid".
- Change the wallet in Settings → Payouts.
Messages and notifications
- A number next to a menu item shows where something is new: messages, replies to proposals, contracts, payouts.
- Messages has all your chats with the team, for proposals and contracts. You see when a message was read.
- Turn browser notifications on in Overview or Settings.
Assistant and quick jump
- The assistant button is in the bottom right corner. Ask anything about working on SoftDeal, by text or voice (the microphone button).
- It does things for you: "open my contracts", "tell the team in the contract chat I'll deliver tomorrow", "apply to task 75". Before a proposal it reads it back and asks to confirm.
- Ctrl + K (⌘ + K on a Mac) or the search icon in the header — jump to any page, task or contract.
Profile and settings
- Click your avatar at the top right: profile, settings, language, theme and sign out.
- Settings: phone and email, password, two-factor protection, notifications and the payout wallet.
- The team reads your public profile and portfolio when picking a developer — fill it in well.
Still have questions?
Ask the assistant by text or voice. It explains, opens the right page and can do the action for you.
